{"id":3994,"date":"2019-05-06T07:01:59","date_gmt":"2019-05-06T05:01:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grupotordesillas.net\/?p=3994"},"modified":"2019-05-06T07:03:39","modified_gmt":"2019-05-06T05:03:39","slug":"identifican-un-nuevo-biomarcador-para-realizar-tratamientos-personalizados-contra-el-cancer-ub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grupotordesillas.net\/pt\/blog\/identifican-un-nuevo-biomarcador-para-realizar-tratamientos-personalizados-contra-el-cancer-ub\/","title":{"rendered":"Identifican un nuevo biomarcador para realizar tratamientos personalizados contra el c\u00e1ncer &#8211; UB"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grupotordesillas.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/identifican-nuevo-biomarcador-para-realizar-tratamientos-personalizados-contra-el-cancer-ub.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3992\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Una de las caracter\u00edsticas de las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas es su capacidad para evitar la apoptosis<\/strong>, un <strong>proceso de muerte celular programada<\/strong> que permite eliminar las c\u00e9lulas da\u00f1adas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy en d\u00eda, muchas l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n de nuevos tratamientos de quimioterapia intentan inducir la apoptosis para eliminar las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas o, al menos, reducir el tama\u00f1o del tumor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un <strong>nuevo estudio liderado por el investigador Antonio Zorzano<\/strong>, catedr\u00e1tico de la\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/biologia\/\" target=\"_blank\">Facultad de Biolog\u00eda<\/a>\u00a0de la UB y jefe del Laboratorio de Enfermedades Metab\u00f3licas Complejas y Mitocondrias en el Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irbbarcelona.org\/ca\/research\/complex-metabolic-diseases-and-mitochondria\" target=\"_blank\">IRB Barcelona<\/a>), <strong>revela que la prote\u00edna TP53INP2 tiene un papel importante en la inducci\u00f3n del proceso de muerte celular o apoptosis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el estudio, publicado en\u00a0<em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.15252\/embj.201899300\" target=\"_blank\">The EMBO Journa<\/a><\/em>l, \u00ab<em><strong>observamos que altos niveles de TP53INP2 en las c\u00e9lulas llevaban a una aceleraci\u00f3n de la apoptosis<\/strong> cuando ciertos receptores situados en la membrana celular estaban activados, mientras que las c\u00e9lulas que no tienen esta prote\u00edna son m\u00e1s resistentes a la muerte<\/em>\u00bb, detalla Antonio Zorzano, que es catedr\u00e1tico en el Departamento de Bioqu\u00edmica y Biomedicina Molecular de la UB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan el nuevo trabajo, <strong>esta prote\u00edna podr\u00eda aumentar la eficacia de ciertos tratamientos de quimioterapia<\/strong>. Es el caso TRAIL, que posee un gran potencial como posible tratamiento contra el c\u00e1ncer.
