A descoberta, feita em parceria com pesquisadores da McGill University, Canad\u00e1, e da Universidade de Vermont, Estados Unidos, est\u00e1 descrita em artigo publicado no peri\u00f3dico Nature Communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>As les\u00f5es de c\u00e9lulas gigantes dos ossos maxilares t\u00eam origem incerta e afetam a mand\u00edbula e a maxila de indiv\u00edduos de diferentes faixas et\u00e1rias<\/strong>, especialmente de crian\u00e7as e jovens.
