Assim aconteceu, durante todo o dia do ultimo s\u00e1bado (26), a <strong>abertura do primeiro Sal\u00e3o do Livro de Alto Long\u00e1<\/strong> (SALONGA), no munic\u00edpio de Alto Long\u00e1 (PI). O <strong>Reitor da Universidade Federal do Piau\u00ed<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ufpi.br\" target=\"_blank\">UFPI<\/a>), Prof. Dr. Jos\u00e9 Arimat\u00e9ia Dantas Lopes,\u00a0e o diretor do Centro de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0\u00a0a Distancia da UFPI(CEAD), Prof. Dr. Gild\u00e1sio Guedes, estiveram na solenidade.<\/p>\n<p>Na oportunidade, o Reitor da UFPI, Jos\u00e9 Arimateia, garantiu a <strong>doa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, por meio da Editora da UFPI (EDUFPI), de <strong>400 livros com mais de 80 t\u00edtulos para a biblioteca do munic\u00edpio<\/strong>. Segundo ele, \u201c<em>a UFPI tem apoiado a cultura e as artes em todo estado. Com a revitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o da EDUFPI, procuramos participar de todas as bienais no pa\u00eds, divulgando assim escritores e a literatura do Piau\u00ed<\/em>\u201d, disse.<\/p>\n<p>O diretor do Cead, Gild\u00e1sio Guedes, afirmou que <strong>a Universidade tem demonstrado grandes contribui\u00e7\u00f5es para a cultura do Estado<\/strong>. Para ele, \u201c<em>o Sal\u00e3o do Livro do Piau\u00ed (SALIPI), \u00e9 um grande exemplo, pois \u00e9 um momento em que o Piau\u00ed tem uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o de varias culturas junto \u00e0 academia<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>O professor da UFPI, e organizador do evento, Dr. Jos\u00e9 Itamar Abreu, agradeceu a presen\u00e7a da UFPI e pontuou o evento como um marco para a cidade. \u201c<em>Essa atitude, al\u00e9m de promover o avan\u00e7o da cidade nos mantem distantes de problemas sociais como as drogas.
